Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and TV host. Her most famous work is her role as the hostess of Dinner and a Movie (TBS) as well as an environmentalist who is known for her secular humanism and environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times best-selling author and highly acclaimed actress, is the best-selling New York Times Author of her memoirs In the Place You Are They Are I See You Made An Effort I Said Tomato You say I'm fired, and you say Shut Up and Fired. Gurwitch was a long-time host of the TBS show Dinner & a Movie and the public will be able to remember her unforgettable appearances on various shows, including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and also as hosts of the sustainability series WA$TED on The Planet Green Network. Her appearances are regularly on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR as well as the Hollywood Reporter. Alongside the writing of op eds, she writes satires that are published by The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. An actress performing on stage, her work has made her one of the critics of the 'Top Ten Performances on the pages of The New York Times as well as the Los Angeles Times.
